C-16 is under the jurisdiction of the Capital Development Authority and is currently being developed with various amenities such as electricity, gas, and water. More amenities are planned for the future. The sector will have wide road networks and well-constructed houses. GT Road provides access to other areas of the twin cities. Sector C-16 Islamabad is a new sector launched by CDA near Sara-e-Kharbooza, and can be accessed through Margalla Avenue. It has three sizes of residential plots: 5 Marla, 1 Kanal, and a few 12 Marla plots. Some 1 Kanal plots in this sector have been allotted to people who have given up their land, while the remaining plots will be allotted to the general public through open balloting.
