F-7 is located to the west of the F-6 sector and is considered to be the relatively elite sector of Islamabad due to the high number of politicians, bureaucrats, business tycoons, and foreigners who live there. It is surrounded by the Margalla Road and Faisal Avenue, and is divided into sub-sectors F-7/1, F-7/2, F-7/4, and a Markaz.

F-7 is the most well-off, elegant, and oldest sector of Islamabad. It is equipped with all kinds of basic and modern facilities. It is well-developed and well-maintained, with a super security system and a guarded entrance to the residential area. The area has well-reputed schools, healthcare centers, and hospitals, including the Medici OPD maternity hospital, which is just a 3-minute drive away, and the Amanat Eye Hospital, which is 4 minutes away. The distinguishing feature of F-7 is its oldest market, the Jinnah Super Market. F-7 is accessible via Marvi Road, close to the Blue Area, which is considered to be the commercial hub and central business district of Islamabad.
