D-12 is an attractive sector located in Islamabad and is connected to E-11 through Margalla Road. The housing society was launched by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in 1994 and is one of the oldest areas in the federal capital. D-12 has a central commercial area called Markaz, which is equally accessible from all sub-sectors. The sector is fully developed with many residents already living there, and there are plots with necessities such as hospitals, schools, electricity, gas, and water available. D-12 is approximately 15 km away from Zero Point and 34 km from the New Islamabad International Airport. The Faisal Mosque is a little over 10 km away.
